Sand in the Ink was founded by Alexandra in 2020 while completing her MA in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter, as a blog about Cornwall's rich literary heritage.

With over 3 years’ experience in marketing and creative consultancy, Alexandra has worked with Cornwall and Devon based businesses and individuals in a wide range of sectors, from museums and book publishing to manufacturing and retail. Living and working in Cornwall gives her first-hand knowledge of the opportunities and challenges of rural industry.
